The face of hunger and longing:
Longing. Some
people mistake it for depression but it isn’t depression - it’s longing. People long for something and sadly
have lost the understanding of what that really is so they project it. They want a new pair of shoes, they
want a new boyfriend, they want something. They don’t realize that that item or person won’t satisfy
the hunger in the heart. Everybody
wants to be loved under it all and that is the hunger. We live in a soulless culture that
doesn’t nourish that need. The
answer is within.
